well there this car sitting in our cul-de-sac lot for like 2 weeks. So i ask the owner "whats up with the car?" he tells me hes selling it. Now my friend wants to buy it , hes about my age. he drives an 89 maxima now but he really wants that s14. My friend got teh chance to drive it yesterday, real smooth. The owner told us to name a price but we werent sure so we told him wed get back to him on that. We need the NICO bluebook to tell us how much this car is worth. And werent sure about the year of the car but my friend saw 1194 in the last digits of the vin so it might be 95. the car has:- 95k miles- carbon fiber hood-Momo steering wheel-kouki lights

edit: we know its a 95, and the owner doesnt know jack about 240s. he just bought it from some guy last month.

ask him what he hit with it and then get the vin and run a car fax to find out what else has been done....thats an ill fitting/damaged carbonfiber hood and it chances blowing up on the freeway if it doesnt have hood pins in it. especially with all that gap over the lights.

That's definitely not a 94.. Remember 94's were s13 convertibles

I'd give him 2500 for it. If you pay 3000 for it, you're kinda getting ripped off... It's in pretty rough shape.

If the engine and interior are in good shape, and it doesn't have to many miles, it's worth a good 3k. If he doesn't know what he has though, talk him down and get a deal.

id only buy that car if i was planning to pretty much redo the whole exterior. and even then i dont think id go over 2-2.5k

I'd say it's worth $3k and you need a paint job and some body work immediately.

PS Don't knock the wrong-sided 240 logo, mine has it too (from a repaint). Frankly, even if the car was salvaged, $3k is a good price in Socal. Mine was $4k salvaged a year ago and it didn't have a kouki conversion (but it also didn't have holes in the hood and had a fresh, albeit $175, paint job).

hahaha a type r in a rwd cari wood pay no more than 3k for this car. there was front end damage and the headlights still dont line up (new fenders).the paint is bad and look around the rear light its a bad repaint.there is no way to really tell if there was rear damage from the pics. i say wait it out and get a clean titlemy .02
