Does anyone know what this part is called?. I went down to Nissan and they didn't know what it is. It is an electrical component and looks like a plug or connection of some kind. Mine is burnt out on one side and the connectors inside are all corroded. I don't know how it got burnt up but the car runs fine regardless. 1992 24sx/se

Is it unplugged??? If so I would guess it is your Air Intake Temperature sensor plug... some aftermarket intakes have a spot for them.. some dont. Is your intake a knock off.. ebay brand?

the FSM says that is a " Resistor and Connector". Marked as F35 in the pic from the FSM

It looks like a fusable link. It's part of the ignition coil system for sure.

Thanks Matt, I would say to got the prize. You figured it out better than any one else from what I can see it is a Resistor/connector. Now I just have to see if I can find another one to replace it with.

Thats a resistor/filter for the coil. You can use that part from another nissan car BUT try getting the same resistance.Mine was burnt by PS fluid.Try soldering the connections when reconnecting.
