Play in driver's seat issue.

Apparently, Nissan is aware of this issue, but has chosen to NOT issue a safety recall or notice about it. It results from a broken mount under the seat.

Anyone else have this issue?

Dealer wants $2,400 to fix the seat or $3,800 to replace it.

Let's see how well my welding skills have improved....

WOW DUDE, THATS HORRIBLE! AND ITS A WELL KNOWN PROBLEM AS WELL. I AM NOT MISTAKEN, THERE IS SOMEONE IN ARIZONA(i think) THAT CUSTOM FABRICATES SOLUTIONS FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM IN THE MURANO.

Go to Ebay and search by seller name mack705. He is selling a new drivers seat mount for $249 and it is 4 times stronger than the original mount. Comes with directions to install yourself. Save yourself $1000 or more.
