Well, tag renewal time is near and so is the turbo build completion. I need some opinions for a license plate expression. Here are a few that I came up with. Please vote for your favorate or give me another. If I choose yours, your prize will be your recognition at the grand unvailing ;)

4SFED ... my 1st choice, unfortunately taken :(FORSFED4SPHED4SFEED4SFEEDNHIBOOSTKA BOOM ... pun?LEADFOOT ... old school term, but I still like itTMINUS5

I had many others, but these were the best so far. I thought to put this on the General talk, but afterall it is turbo related ... hmmmm.

well, okay ... you're in Alabama. I kinda like KA BOOM myself. I really want a plate that expresses the car's state of being rather than one that screams for trouble (like ULOST, IWON, SMOKDYA ...). I figure if the car wins races, KA BOOM makes it's own dog-tail wagging statement. It also makes it known that it is not an SR20 swap. And, at the same time if it loses, or blows up ... well, that speaks for itself too ;) Any others???

Well, crap. Got off the phone with the county tax collector ... KA BOOM is taken (b*stard, I'll hunt you down), along with 4SPHED. I even tried KA POW ... taken :( Hell, even SHIFT was taken! Well, give me some others; I've still got a few.

Maybe NOSR20 ... of course only hardcore Nissan addicts would get that ... others would probably read it as a twenty shot of nitrous ... BWAhahahaha. Here's some others ...

I think I'm down to LEADFOOT or QUIK FIX. ??? :)

UDLOOZ - My boss had this on his '38 Dodge truck with a blown 460 in it, claimed 700hp. "you'd lose" I thought it was funny

How many letters can you have in FL? I know in VA its 7 and NC its 8. If its 8, go for BOOSTD KATURBO KA or if you're planning to stick with your turbo, put what its is: T04E KAT3T4 SFEDT04 SFED

BTW, VA has a DMV site that you can actually put in what plate you want and they'll let you know if its available. Check your state's DMV site to see if they have something similar. That way you don't have to sit on hold for a couple of years.

I have a few more which I'll call on today. BTW, I wish FL had an online plate check, but they don't. In my county they're pretty good about answering the phone though ...

4SFED being taken, I'm going to try these:

4SFED KA4SFED2404SFED24T

Whatcha think?

Going out of my mind! 4SFEDKA, 4SFED240, 4SFED24T, QUIKFIX, QWIKFIX, "KABOOM" ... ALL TAKEN!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

<<sound of hand smacking face ... *1*, *2* >>

Okay, I'm better now. TMINUS5 is still good; I like it, just not as much as the 4SFED's or KABOOM. I have to remain within 7 characters, not including a space or hyphen.

How about:

HIBSTN25GKA25G24TBSTN24TBSTN240

... *sigh*

I DON'T believe it ... these are available!! ...

HIBSTNHIBSTR25GKA25G24TBSTN24TBSTN240

Check out the tags that the girl told me actually made it through and are on the road here in Florida ... 4NIC8 and MSTRB8 ... for real! Too bad I'm married, this girl seems awesomely cool (with a government job too!). She thought "BSTN" stood for "bustin" ... so I replied, "How about BSTNUT?" She laughed and said it was taken! ... HA!

Okay, opinions on the above?? :D
