Hey ladies and gents :wavey:

Well I re-painted my front mustache and Nissan burger or emblem, whatever it's called, due to chipped paint. I guess while driving little rocks and objects just chipped it. When I originally painted it I didn't use a clear coat so that could of been the issue as well?
I used a can of PlastiDip spray can and pretty much used the whole can. Oh and of course I sanded them down. You can buy it at your local hardware store. I bought mine at home depot for about 6 bucks, too bad they didn't have more because I wanted to do my stock rims as well. Oh well that's my next little project I guess. Btw these photos where taken with my iPhone so sorry for the bad quality and I'll update some more pics once they dry over night and there's some sunlight out tomorrow.

cool, i did the same thing a couple months ago. you won't be disappointed.
also you didn't need to take the actual pieces off, you could have just left them on the car.

I've removed them before so It wasn't as hard as the first time. It was cake the second time around. And I also wanted to paint the back just to prevent peeling.

Oh and the pusheads are just one of my many SB dunks... Pigeons are right next to them too. :woot:

No fair! I think they're worth a lil more than what you quoted me for the springs... Hey but what size are you? They're 10 or 10 1/2... Pm me so we can make a deal...

Sucks about the shoe size... But hey I do appreciate that low price on those springs!!!! Hey if I'm rolling on my stockers it doesn't make a difference does it?

Nic, when i did my mustache i used the 3m carbon fiber vinyl, its the same matte black look. You should do your grille too, then it would be all one color and would look sick.

The grill I think would be a little harder, especially with the vinyl... I been thinking about it too but the whole removal of the front bumper is a hassle. I might just plastidip the honeycomb too. But that carbon fiber look would be sick!!!

Wondering how the Plastidip is holding up on the mustache? Resisting chips and such from road debris? Also, is there any mention on the product about clear coating to prevent this further?

Yeah so far so good Meng... No chips or fading at all... I had it painted with regular gloss black paint but it chipped too much, so decided to plasti it and I'm so happy I did that! And for the clear coat it doesn't say anything but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to get that glossy look...

Sweet. I got nailed by a shopping cart and need to replace my powder coated grill. Already purchased and have the replacement but my powder coater is MIA for some reason. Might try this.
