If you install it properly, the deflector does not hit the hood. Yes it comes with the small plastic "bumpers".

I have one I installed and do not have any whistling. Maybe yours is not installed correctly.

Yes they are. I got them off ebay. Those are 2 strips but since then I found them in 1 single strip. Very inexpensive.

Last week I bought the hood deflector from the dealer(for $105.60 CAD, including tax). I am an architect, so it was really easy for me to find the coordinates of the Bumpons, center supporting clips and body clips, etc. It took 20 minutes to install it. I trust the quality of the 3M Bumpons that you stick on the car (I am sure they wont damage the paint) however, I am not sure what will happen when I remove the "center supporting clips" . Because these three clips were installed just on to the hood (without any protective stickers). But the four body clips had a top quality 3M protective strips.

anyway, here is the link for the instruction manual :

I am really happy with this deflector. I have no noise problems...and when looking at the pictures that were uploaded by Philipa, (paulvanharte's Rogue) there is an installation error. The edge of the deflector should be parallel to the headlamps  .

This is the first time I've seen this for a Rogue. I'd love to get one. Oddly enough I have a small dent in the front of my hood and this would cover it up :) I got an estimate to fix the dent - they wanted close to $800. This is a much better option I think. Does anyone know if this will fit on a 2010?

That's a lot. It cost me to fix the door (somebody did hit it on parking lot) then repaint the hood and paint 2 new bumpers $900. So find some smaller shop to do it. I ordered the same hood cover last week from ebay for $40 but didn't get it yet.

Leo - what did you enter as your search on ebay? I entered "Nissan Rogue Hood Deflector", "Nissan Rogue Bug Shield", and several other terms but came up with nothing. Any suggestions?

Just to give anyone who's looking to purchase this some info - as it was posted previously, this can be purchased by calling AutoFrills (1-877-909-7599). I spoke with a rep there and he told me that it's a very popular item. It can be ordered by phone, however they'll be adding it to their website within a couple weeks.

If anyone's interested, their price is $89.95 + $29 shipping. The part number is HD13S08S.

I plan on searching ebay for a little longer - hoping to get as good a deal as Leo got. If I can't find one on ebay, I'll just order it once they update their website.

I was going to order one through AutoFrills until they quoted me $129 shipping (plus $89.95 for the deflector) to Alaska. F that.

I was concerned about the 2011, but it does not appear the hood has been changed. It should fit fine.

If anyone does get one for their 2011 (or any other model year), please post some pics pls!

As Philipa requested, here is the pictures of the plastic hood deflector on my 2011 Rogue:

You can see clearly the protective Bumpons and strips.

I got magnetbra. Kinda different look but I like it more than leather face masks. Still have to open it once in a while and wax the hood just like face mask but it looks way better:

Hey - for the people who didn't like their's (the plastic Rock Deflector) due to the whistling noise....

Anyone still have any of those plastic pins?

I got my deflector in today and installed it. But, on one of those 4 plastic pins - the pin popped up as I was screwing the screw into it. So, it chewed thru the plastic and won't stay down now (that 1 pin). I need to get a replacement...

I'll pay a few dollars to cover your time and trouble if you have one and are not using it. Please let me know...
