The plastic shroud/guard at the front end of the Rogue, just below the radiator wraps around the entire front, and meets the front wheel well guards. These two pieces don't actually attach, but instead the wheel well guard just hangs there within about a half inch of the front end piece. When I hit cracks in the road at just the right size, it causes these plastic pieces to vibrate against one another and it is really annoying, it sounds like there is something wrong with the suspension or something is loose (which in fact it is, the wheel well plastic guard is not secured at the one end).

Does anyone else notice this sound occaisionally? Have a look at the front wheel well plastic guard and push on it and you'll immediately realize that it's just hanging there. I'm trying to figure out a way of securing it that will last long term and eliminate the rattling plastic noise, any ideas? Thanks.

Must be a clip or two came off. When I was taking my headlights out I had to remove that plastic as well as all other plastics like fender protector. There's a lot of clips located all over. Inspect all missing/broken clips and replace them.

If you look at the plastic guard in both of the front wheel wells, the one edge is not supported by any clips at all that I can see, it just hangs there supported by only 3 sides, and you can move that unsupported edge freely, and it does rattle when hitting just the right size bump/crack in the road. Unless mine is just special......take a close look at the wheel well plastic shroud, yours has to be the same.....
