I just finished putting the valve head covers back onto the engine. I wanted to do a quick once over before i cleaned up shop and to my horror, noticed a piece of dry (kinda like a dead leaf, just falls apart to the touch) plastic that fell from the engine harness onto the mating surface between the exhaust valve head cover and the head, and went un-noticed while i worked on other things.
The rtv is already dry and dragging my finger against it in the back only proves to me that its sandwiched between there.
I really dont want to do this job a third time (first time forgot to put the half moons in
i hate to do a half assed job, but will it do no harm to leave it as is? or should i just tear that side apart and start all over again?
Im desperate, HELP!
