Think nightmarish sporting events and bottles being thrown on the field. Now that Miller has to make them, they sell in stores during the MLB off season as the NFL doesn't need as much for it's games.

I saw them last year at the Big Spring jam a local outdoor concert thing in huntsville. I guess so they can't get hurt by glass.

You obviously haven't been to a Major League Baseball game in a while. Plastic bottles are all they have for bottled beer.

Word. They're always used at concerts/sporting events/anywhere here on the strip on gameday.

I think heiniken is a good beer to drink while eating but not to get drunk off of. To get drunk natural light or the beast are both good. But then again you almost have to acquire that taste first

I thought they only sold plastic bottles in places with swimming pools. Plastic sucks. They need to sell coke in full size glass bottles again.

LOL I was formally introduced to this things at concert in Dallas, TX. Some **** FACES thought it be cool to start a bottle contest and a huge container war broke up, mainly these plastic beer bottles; some empty, some filled with piss, some filled with tobacco spit. I make non of this up. I said F this and left after Breakin Benjamin. Worst bunch of hulligans and punk kids I've ever seen.

what are you talking about man! guinness single serves are pretty crappy compared to guiness on tap.

ilovedrifting, do you think that miller light may have been watery cause it's a LIGHT beer in the first place...? LoL

anyways, i just had my first plastic brews about 6 months ago. i was at a outdoor car show. i thought it was a pretty good idea actually, no broken glass laying around to destroy anyone's nice car's tires. the only plus side was you get that extra 4oz for around the same price as a 12oz bottle. most domestic beers taste the same to me anyways, so i didn't really notice any more of a worse taste from the plastic.

they're not too bad i guess...

Fedex Field (formerly Redskins Stadium) has been using the plastic bottles forever.

They need to serve real beer at sporting events, like maybe some McEwans or Murphy's or something...

Glass is the only way to go. But for what its worth, Jacob's Field (home of the Cleveland Indians) has had plastic bottles since the late 90's for beer.

and Steph (NSR240sxe) its not any cheaper and even if it was....glass owns.
