Anyone ever removed the Plasti Dip from Plasti Dipped wheels? Buying my son an Xterra and the previous owner did this to the wheels. Looks bad now.

spray it with wd40 and let it soak.. then pressure wash

I just removed the plastidip on my XD wheels. I used a heat gun and a brush. For the stubborn residue, I rubbed it with goof off on a microfiber towel.

We ended up using Goof Off. You have to be careful with that stuff. On one wheel, I sprayed it and left it on a while. It kinda etched that wheel. I guess it removed the clear coat on the aluminum.
