I just recently purchased my M35 and was thinking about changing out wheels, but I decided to plasti-dip them a gunmetal color with silver metallic flakes. I think it makes the car look more aggressive, but some may disagree.

I think they look great. If you live in the north, the dip will also protect the wheels from road salt. Best part is that you can keep those same wheels and change the look 100% as many times as you like by just peeling off the old dip and changing colours / finishes. I would suggest the anthracite metallic dip as seen in this video.

That gold/rose gold color would look awfully nice on a white car...

This would look great on a grey car. You first do 2 coats black, then add ONLY 1-2 coats of Silver metalizer over it. It turns the black wheel into a semi-silver wheel but it's still dark and has metal flakes in the finish.

That's pretty much what I did here. I put on 3 coats of black and then 2 coats of the silver metallizer. It creates a gunmetal look with silver flakes.

That looks AWESOME. The OEM finish on my wheels sucks. Id love to do this in a color in between what you have and silver. Not that dark but not as light as silver.

To do that, all you would have to do is to add about 2-3 more coats of the metallizer spray and the wheels would lighten up in color.

That gun-metal does look nice though. I'm just not a fan of my rims. I really want to get those 19" Sport Rims. I got the 18" Grandpas
