So decided imma plasti dip my emblems and grill (instead of vinyl).

Was wondering when i do the front grill (2010 ac) if i need to remove it completely or if i could just tape everything off and spray it on like my back symbols??? Seems like it would be hard to do it by leaving it on with the cracks between the grill and the paint etc.

Is it pretty hard to remove the grill? like does the whole bumper have to come off??

Any advice from peeps who have done it would be awesome, thanks guys

I plasti dipped a friend of mines alt coupe a few weeks ago. It is time consuming but i frog taped everything (along with newspaper for the hood and larger parts) to help avoid the overspray. I didn't remove the bumper. She didn't want the whole grille just the chrome parts.

If your looking to remove the chrome parts only you can also follow this

removing the chrome mustache is really easy. It would definitely be less time consuming to just pop it out. Let me know how this works cause I have been looking to try this too!

yeah i do just wanna do the chrome parts actually and that looks pretty easy from the thread but will it work with a 2010 since the chrome part goes all the way around the outside of the grill?? and the middle nissan emblem comes off like that as well??

Actually I can't really say, you might have to remove or at least unclip the bumper so you can get behind it to remove the whole thing since its just not two piece like the 1st gen coupes. If your lazy I would just spend some time wrapping whatevers not chrome in tape and news paper and just laying down a few coats over the chrome.

That is pretty much what I did with this one r18 Civic.
