Well most have u have seen my post about the piston rod problem i have in my current Z. I found a cheap solution to fix the problem and will be selling the car soon. I bought the car about a month ago for $12,000 and it seemed it was in fabulous cond. its a 93 TT 300zx with 89k miles when i got it. Bought it from the first owner with all paperwork and all three original keys. Had all maint wrk complete but obviously it was abused like crazy. So once i end up selling this car i am planning on buying another Z32 TT with a bad motor for no more than $3,000. Since I am going to keep this car for a long time if not forever I want a clean slate with the car. So i was planning on getting a brand new engine unit from Nissan for $3,200 and then purchase upgraded Turbos.

I have found a mechanic who is a master tech on the Z32 who works from his garage and has all necessary equip (was recommened to me by Nissan Reps). I visited him just a few days ago and they're were literally 5 other 300zx's surrounding his house lol. What he charges for labor is very affordable.

I want a reliable 500hp 300zx. I know there is more to it than just a turbo upgrade. Im gonna need the ECU upgrade and the injectors, also a high performance clutch along with the basic mods. I know i might need some more but havent really had the time to research yet what else u guys recommend? which turbo should i go with?

Does this sound like a good plan to u guys? i have about 13k to spend on my next Z once i sell my current one.

dont wanna spend another $4 to 5k to fix this car for a long term or put a used motor in with all the unknowns. Plus I will have extra cash to spend on a TT that i buy for no more than $3000(with bad motor). There is no way i can get the money together to mod up the current Z i have because i alrdy spent 12k on the car and will need to spend another 5k to fix the problem it has.

1. If you got all that paperwork, and looking at your age, I'm going to bet you're the one who abused it to death.

2. You're going to quick fix a motor problem and sell the car for $13k? I hope you burn in hell for ripping a Z fan off like that.

3. Good luck trying to get any 500hp car to be reliable.

Who said i was selling the car for 13k? Im not one of those jackasses that hands my problems to some1 else which obviously happened to me. I was planning on fixing the bearing on the rod for $500 which will make the motor last a bit longer as i do need to drive it for a while before i can sell it. I was planning on putting the car up for $8500 obo and notifying the buyer of the potential problem down the road. U said; "Im going to bet u abused it to death" if u could read like a normal adult u would understand that i have only had the car for a month.

Ok, before you attack my reading, how about your lack of punctuation and capitalization. I did read you post. All of it. You can kill a car in a month. I bet you got a car that was babied, well taken care of, and you got out there, and beat it as hard as you could, and pushed it to the redline all the time. That will kill a car in a lot less than a month. Maybe you missed a gear and grabbed second instead of fourth. There are a lot of ways to kill a car. Did you turn the boost up? Did you ruin cheap gas? Overheat it? Run it low on oil?

You probably hopped into that car with no concept of how to drive it. Driving a car fast and being a fast driver are two different things. Both are fast, but only one driver still has his car at the end of the day.
