First off, Welcome to NICO. Quote »is it reliable?
Yes. When Nissan presented the 350Z to their engineers, they told them to build it for at least 200,000 miles.Quote »what year is good to buy, and what problems should i be expecting at what miles?
2003-2008 are good years to buy . As far as problems go, every car is different but as far as all around problems, window motors go out on the early models (cheap and easy fix), also some 2006's consume/burn/leak/(???) oil between changes. There are differences in power per certain years and certain models. Quote »DIY sites for it?
In the thread titled: 350Z FAQ, General Information & DIY, we have links to unlimited DIY write-ups (done by our members) with pictures and easy step by step instructions. We encourage everyone to use these and also encourage them to create them.

In that same thread (350Z FAQ, Gen & DIY) there is a link to the FSM (Factory Service Manual) as well.

Also my 2004.5 350Z Performance is F/S right now... http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1162925675.html
