Hey guys/gals.

Its time for me to make my very own purchase with in the next few weeks. I found 98 240sx LE Black on Black with cream leather. The car on the outside is almost mint conditions. The down side is that It need brakes and it has a rusty Driver side frame.

Since i need new brakes whats a good and cheap Big brake upgrade? and can someone post couple pictures of rusty frame rails from worst to decent. Just want to see it before actually looking at the one i want to buy.

Thanks you in advance guys.

Just get some Q45 brakes in the front. They'll make a world of difference.

Post pics of the rails before you buy it so we can tell you whether it's worth it or not.

If the rails are like that in the pictures i gonna skip on this 98. Is is easy to get a fram from another 240sx and swap to the one I'll buy. I'm going to go this friday to check the underneath. I'll post some pictures on friday night.

Thanks again guys

a 98 LE with a cream interior sounds pretty rare..... Depending on where the rust is, it may be a relatively simple fix. Some companies sell kits that you can weld on to restore the frame rails.

That looks awesome. Did you do it your self or but the kit. I'll probably pick up the 240 and do what you did.

Thank a lot guys.
