I'm trying to plan my entire engine build all at once. I've been saving some money for a while and want to knock everything out at once instead of gradually, so I can just get one ecu tune and be done with it.

Goal: Around 375whp or more...

Turbo: For the longest time I was planning on getting a GT2871R probably .86, but I was thinking about getting a new exhaust manifold, so I was thinking about getting an SC50 or perhaps an SC32 (or maybe even something else, who knows). Also, if I went that route I'd probably get the TurboFab top mount setup kit, and I will be putting a flexpipe in my exhaust regardless of what I do... Thoughts?

Bolt-Ons: Injectors - 700-740cc... Should I worry about a new fuel rail? Intake manifold? Cams? If I get cams would I have to then deal with valve springs and retainers, etc?

Internals: I've been considering getting CP pistons and Eagle rods as well as ARP main studs and head studs just for reliability concerns and the fact that I don't actually know how this engine has been treated in the past...

Basically I just need some help deciding what would actually be worth doing. This is going to be a somewhat-budget install. I want to do things right, but I don't want to overdo it for minimal worth...

Thanks for your opinions.

What's your budget? Look up fiznat setup he has over 400rwhp.He's got the aem ems...thouh. What are you going to use for tuning?Greddy?SAFC?BTM? For 375rwhp you won't need new rods. Just get them treated and they are good for over 500hp 540 is when they got messed up.Tuning is the most important thing in your setup

I plan on getting an Enthalphy-tuned ecu then using safc for fine tuning if necessary...

When you do injectors most definetly go with top feed injectors ( im not sure if u can do otherwise) that means that u will need to get a top feed injector fuel rail. Also get a fuel pumpAs for the cams, depending on the stage of the cam, decides whether u have to get springs, retainers, etc. Stage 1 no Stage 2+ is recommended.

Dont know if this will help you, but good luck

Having top feed injectors allows for more fuel to past through faster, thus allowing more fuel to the mixture and producing more power (easier). Side feed injectors just wont send as much fuel as top feed. And, top feed injectors are more popular as far as how many companies make them.
