i need to buy a helmet soon for road racing/drift events. What are the best places to get one new or used locally? or if anyone knows a good place to get them online for cheap that would be helpful. Thanks

It's not the style that determines if it's useable, but the rating of the helmet. Most helmets have a tab inside that lists its rating, like "SNELL 95". Track events will always tell you the minimum required helmet rating. And that'll vary depending on the track or event. I had tried on a lot of helmets before deciding on mine.
