placement of the SR20det knock sensor?

can someone give me a pic of where the Sr20det knock sensor goes on a redtop.Here is a pic of the sensor, im pretty sure its the knock sensor but correct me if im wrong. I rebuilt my engine and now it doesnt have spark, im hoping it has to do with this cuz i have nothing else left to try, I found out it wasnt hooked into my engine, but i donno where it goes.

That is a knock sensor and IIRC it should go right below the intake manifold near the rear of the engine I dont exactly remember where when i get home il see if I can find the spot on the engine in my garage and I also think their are two knock sensors on an sr engine but I cant remember its been awhile.

^^ he's right. it's under the intake mani on the block. toward the back of the motor, a real PITA to get to.

yes it is, i couldnt agree more on that one. it took a while but i finally found the spot. I painted the engine when i rebuilt it so i could see it off a mark it may have made, but i found it.
