Your moderator has been scheming, and I fear the scheming has materialized into garage expansion.

As most of you know, this is my Altima Coupe. Known to me and my close friends (and now, all of you) as "Red":

She is my 6 speed manual V6 AC. She has neat little things like a Greddy Spectrum Elite exhaust, a Racingline Y-Pipe and short shifter, and an AEM Intake (the S-Tech Tein springs shown in the pictures are no longer on the coupe).

But things in my life changed. At the time, when I purchased Red, I had a real girlfriend. You see, the gf, who I was not married to, was very opinionated and, whether she admits it or not to this day, had my life planned out for me as she saw fit. She told me "it was ok with her" that I had an Altima. I didn't need a ridiculous sports car because we were supposed to get married, and there was no way I would have enough money for her if I bought those cars. Plus, she could not drive a manual transmission.

When I traded my CVT Altima for my 6MT Altima, the beast had a problem with the fact that I bought it. She informed me that "I didn't ask for permission" from her or talk with her about my decision. I was supposed to be saving to buy her a Juke. (She didn't pay for ANYTHING).

So, after a long arduous time fighting, I broke up with her.

And then, I bought this:

40 years of evolution from one of the single most iconic sports cars to ever come from Japan, all rolled into this dark charcoal metallic package, complete with red leather seating, a 6 speed manual transmission with SynchroRevMatch technology, and 332 horses of adrenaline powered euphoria.

She is a beauty.

I can't wait to get started with this thing. Ideas are welcome. Cheers to newfound freedom and epic Nissans.

My driveway is very happy (sorry for crap celly pic):

These two cars really compliment eachother if you can afford to have both. One is practical and fun to drive year round. The other is a nice weather car. Good job man. You make me jealous :)

BTW, good call on unloading the woman!

Sounds like the "beast" was a real nut job lol. Reminds me of one of my ex's :inout: . Nice thing about a car, you can do whatever you want with it. and if theres a problem, you just have it fixed and your good to go.

Congrats on the Z, and the reduction of one less boss in your life. The Z will always be my favorite sports car; my first two cars that I owned were 300ZX's, and I've loved the Z since. I was never as big of a fan with the 350Z as I was the 300ZX (Z32), but man did Nissan get it right with the 370Z. Beautiful car, and again congrats.

+1 :bigthumb: . My Z31 is why I bought a Nissan, and my AC. originally thought about the 350Z but needed something more practical and good in the snow. Good choice, The Z will be my next sports car.
