Howdy all! Long time no post!!
I am very interested in purchasing a staggered set of ROTA's P45R's. I've been recommended 17x9 (4x114.3) +12 upfront & 18x9.5 (4x114.3) +15 out back. I have spring/strut combo & do not want to roll fenders, have rubbing issues. I dont want a mild look however @ the same time do not want an extreme agressive look.

Anyone familiar with this wheel know if this is going to cause any fitment, rubbing, fender rolling problems?
And lastly, anyone have pix of an S14 w/ these style rims on them with offsets listed?

EDIT: I have searched posts for pix of rims and offsets however the ones I am seeing no longer have pix uploaded for reference.
I looks like it would be best to go w/ the same size rim (17) and go w/ a +12 ( fender roll) @ the extreme and down to a +20 for a better fit (no roll of fender). Please correct me if I am wrong.

THANKS!

Not exactly the setup you requested, but ehh... whatever.

17/18 stagger on S14's look absolutely disgusting to me. S14's can pull off 17's all around, but you gotta be super low to make it look good. Go with 18x9.5+12 all around. You won't have any rubbing issues with just lowering springs as long as you pick the right tire sizes.

There's lots of S14's on Rimtuck with similar sized wheels. It's a pretty solid setup.

Without coilovers and adjustable camber arms, you're probably going to have some wheel poke though. Are you 4 lug or 5 lug? Cause Rota doesn't make the 18x9.5+12's for 4 lug anymore...

I found rimtuck yesterday eve thanks to other posts by you!! I have seen those pix and they all say they had to roll &/or pull plus it looks like they have some camber adj also which I want to keep to a minimum.

I've got 4 lug, adj RUCA's, etc already installed to correct alignment after I lowered mine w/KYB's and MR coils. My car is low, not crazy low tho and I am not willing to go lower!
I agree about staggered rims sizes, I am no longer willing to pursue that after looking @ all the pix on rimtuck. ROTA's got 18x9.5 +15 listed on website. I wonder what that will look like.
**Every pix I see of 18x9.5's look like it is not worth it to me since I use my 240 as a daily driver...9.5 is just too close to the fenders, 9.0 width looks much better!
I thought I had settled on 17x9 +12 but now I am undecided again...

These 17x9's look like a great fitment even though they are not the wheel I want. My car looks to be the same heighth also...

I want this to be painless as possible (minimum to no fender pull/roll or start venturing "out of spec" w/ alignment)...

Wait... I'm confused... Do you have coilovers or not? If you're just on lowering springs, you won't be low enuff to have rubbing issues. But if you're on coilovers, you probably will.

You can forget about going 18's with 4lug. 17x9+12's with 235/40/17's should be nice and safe for you. Don't be scared about rolling fenders though. It ain't hard. But pulling fenders is another thing...

Simmode, even if he only has lowering springs, it's gonna rub when the spring compresses. 9" +12 is pretty wide, regardless of the tire size you're running, especially on stock fenders.

OP, if you're going with a wheel that wide/low offset, expect to at the bare minimum, roll your fenders and adjust your camber. Rubber band tires and anything other than a slammed ride height looks stupid. Get some tires with some meat on then.

I guess that depends on how stiff your springs and dampening are. I had S-Techs/AGX's and when I had 20mm spacers on my 16x8.5's with effective +7 offset and 225/45 rubber, It never rubbed. Even though it was mexi-flush as hell, I had like almost 4 finger widths of wheel gap and it never rubbed even under hard cornering. But maybe my sway bars and strut bars had something to do with that too...

But if the OP is that scared of rubbing or rolling fenders, maybe he should be looking at some 17x9+20's...

Whoa, whoa! What is "OP?"

Simmode1, I have lowering springs, when I said coils I meant springs (excuse me).
I'm going w/ 17x9 +12. If I gotta roll my fenders so be it...I love the way they look!
Thanks for all the help.
