Hi, I said I was gonna post pix of this sooner or later, well I finally am. It still has a 3" gap, but it looks hella good. I am running 40 tires (not the standard 45), so the tires look a little smaller, makes the gap a lil bigger, but i like the way it looks.

wtf?!?! cut springs! Maybe you haven't been on the main land, but when your driving street, and freeway, you will be bouncing up and down like a made man. The suspension would suck SOOO much. Don't cut springs at ALL! Not even your stock ones. Sure it may make it look cool, but you will still have that body roll.

my freind cut his springs on his intergra and it rode great. then he removed the springs from the front and was poppin wheelies on the freeway. so he put them back on. jsut if you dont cut a whole lot it wont make that much of a difference.

I knew someone with a honda civic ex that cut his springs. He was the teachers aid in my automotive tech class last year, he was supposedly a master mechanic. haha the only work he did on that car in the shop all year was to weekly rotate and monthly replace his tires, heh. Moral of the story is that cut springs = ghetto rice with nothing to show but a "bottomed out" drop. Not to mention if you ever took flight a bit and landed, I already feel the scraping.

and if you're cutting lowering springs, you'll blow your struts in a day. Lowering springs only have 3 or 4 complete coils.

i was wondering if u did a true measurement of how much lower the car is? when i say tru measurement, i mean b/f u had put on the sportlines, u measured from the top of the wheel well to the center of the rim and then after u had put on the sportlines, u did the exact same thing. dont really worry about the gap, the springs will settle in. and u have a point about the 40 series tires. i have 45 and it does make the drop seem a bit better due to the decreased wheel gap. o well, consider that a blow to the infamous 6 or 7 inch wheel gap from factory.
