Are they stock? And yeah, check the tune and boost. Besides that I think you are SOL.

advanced timing issue with a lean condition, thats the only recipe I know of that can produce enough heat to melt a piston. LOL

You melt them I break ringlands....What you got for tuning?Might be the angle of the pic and the way she is turned.... Think we need to see them firsthand to do a complete study on them to decide if one is bigger....

I agree about the angle of the dangle. Also she has a nice camel hoof. As for the op how many pistons have you melted?
