I recently bought a set of Arias pistons (.020" over) The set included rings and wristpins. When i started to check the ring gap on the Arias rings i found something a bit weird.... All 4 sets of rings (1st and 2nd compression rings) are WAY too big. Without any filing of the ring the gap is at .071" on all 4 sets of rings.... I can't find out why they are soo large..... I compared them to a set of rings from my supertech pistons and the OD seems to be the same and the ID seems to be the same.... but the gap is freaking HUGE!

this is the gap i am talking about...

The only numbers on the rings are "N200" but my rings for the ST pistons have "N60" on them... what do these numbers mean?

whoa yeah, those ring gaps look huge.definately don't assemble as is. i'm not sure what those numbers mean either but there is something wrong.if you have too, buy another set of factory rings with the correct oversize.
