Greaser has weiseco pistons doing 11.19 1/4 miles. Eagle rods are good. The pistons come with pins and rings.

i heard that the motor can only takes up to 500 hp after that you need reinforce block and you need to upgrade the transmission too rite? or should the stock stock with upgrade pistons and rods handle over 500 hp? and what about the transmission? can it handle that much HP. like over 500 or was the max of the engine can handle and the transmission thx...

correct if i'm wrong PEACE...

Well i dunno at what point the engine needs to be sleeved, but there's a few shops knockin on the 550hp door with stock pistons and rods and i believe stock transmission...there are aftermarket gears for the transmission that you may want to look into but i'd see what the factory one can do first...

I have used this combo in a bunch of motors. I have not had any problems despite the bad name people give to eagle rods. ( no idea why.) I like the weisco pistons better than the Je's. ( closer piston to wall clearance. )

We're boosting the hell out of one now. ( 21 psi) No problems. Same setup.

i have eagle rods and arias pistons.i love them and plan to turn the boost to 24-25 psi this weekend.it depends how fast you want to go. but i would recomend the arias pistons, they make pistons that top fuel dragsters use.
