Pauter rods/Ross pistons...but it depends on your power goals and budget.

arias piston 8:8.1 compression (.020"oversize), and eagle rods. pistons are made for high boost. unless you want to push over 600+whp then you should use better rods.

I saw some people with that setup, arias/eagle combo. not going for 600..more like 350hp

Low power, Eagle rods and any forged piston FTW. The combo I gave you was THE BEST assuming you have some decent bank and are going for real power.

350hp? flywheel power or wheel hp? you can definately make 350hp with stock pistons/rods. have an effecient set up + good tune.

I want longevity, reliability too. Build the motor to handle 500+, but only run it at 75%.

When you make your choice go to Importperformance.net they have pretty much every thing you want for a good price. personally ai went with pauter rods and wiesco pistons 9:1 compresion. pauter are the stongest you can get, but you have to check the clearance between the rod and the bottom of cylinder wall because on some blockes theym come to close or bareley touch so then you have to make a little notch on both sides of the cylinder wall to make clearance for them. I had to do it to mine. if you go with pauter rods I would go ahead and have these litle notches put in before assemlbly to save time and dought. it doesnt hurt any thing it's just a small notch. when you see pauter rods they look unbreakable for you power goals eagle rods should support your needs well.

Actually I believe Carillo rods are stronger than Pauters.

But if I had all the money in the world, I would buy Pauter Titanium rods.

I just got a set of crower rods, they are amazing. Look to be on par if not better than paulter. Ill toss up a pic when i get home, i had never seen them before but they are massive.

Anything crower makes is good, enough said. They also will make Ti rods if you ask for it. Stupid strength and light weight ftmfw..

Pauter claims that on a typical six cylinder application, running titanium rods reduces weight by as much as the weight of two chromoly rods.

The crowers were a little over 500 a pop, idk about the paulters.

So, around 2000 dollars for a set of freaken rods.. FFS! Lol power:dollar ratio there is going to get absurd..

Did your motor blow again Cory? Hows the transmission?

I always wondered why you refused to just stop rebuilding motors and buy some freaking rods/pistons...

I blew my engine four times and rebuilt it seven times. One was a HIB situation.

I kept getting internals for free, so all I had to do was install them. I also wanted the stock internal record for WHP.

Transmission is fine. Is this Jonathan who used to have a turbo S2000?
