Piston Ring Choice

Im about to buy a set of KAE pistons and rods to put in my KADE, I just honed my cylinder walls today and cant decide what to get for rings. Ive read 99 Altima Chrome rings. What would you guys use? and have any good links to where I can buy the rings?

99 Altima rings are the best but you need to hone for chromolly because they are chrome...

ahh, good call. so would OEM rings be best then?

the OEM will work fine for most applicationsonly seriously high heat applications (nitrous motors or motors under high boost) need to go to Chromoly.

You can get Chrome for less than 100 dollars you guys figure it out.

either one can last the life of the motor.It's just the demon we call detonation that causes them real problems

LOL on the subject of saturns...i was riding in my friends blazer when we pulled up behind this green saturn with a sticker on the back window that said "Saturn-Girls go FAST too" in a cool lookin logo thing, so I started making fun of it. As we passed them we realized it was my ex-girlfriend. thats when we really died laughing
