How do I get the piston in the caliper to go back inside? It sticking way out and i can't put the new brake pads. Is there a special way besides trying to turn it to get it to go back inside? my car is a 96 S14 Base model

Brakes are pretty much universal engineering. When installing new pads/rotors you will have to compress the piston back in the caliper. This will allow you to attach the new pads in the caliper and mount it back onto the rotor. To compress the piston in the caliper you need a C clamp, this can be found at any local auto/hardware store. Take the clamp and put one end on the piston with the other end on the caliper exterior, then tighten and release. This should keep the piston flush for a few minutes, enough time to put the pads on and mount it on the rotor.

If you are talking about the rear brakes, the piston needs to be rotated back in like a screw. You'll see 4 notches that are designed to aid with this. You can use a tool made for this(attached to a 3/8" socket ratchet) or you can try and use a pair of needlenose pliers. The letter is a bit more difficult and perhaps uncomfortable, but it can be done.
