I am looking at a Nissan Motorsports/NISMO catalog here. They put a boatload of stuff in here without explaining the big difference. The thing that has me shot is the piston grades. I see many piston choices from bore size to compression. Each one comes in 3 grades numbers. Which one is best or most suitable? 1 2 or 3?

Slightly higher compression pistons then everyone else. It would allow me faster spool up times and to get away with high hp on lower amounts of boost. Please don't give me the crap about "High compression can't run boost -- Only low compression". It's all about the EFFECTIVE compression ratio.

Well, dynamic compression, but yes. And boost on high compression is always better - higher DYNAMIC compression ratio. All it takes is good tuning.

That's one thing I know how to do. No one makes high compression pistons for the SR20DE or DET except nissan motorsports and nismo.

are you sure, i believe greaser is running 9:1, and not nismo...

email from greaser: "hey, using crower rods now. got them from race engineering as well as my pistons."
