Well, I looked through all of the search threads I could, and figured out that people were running 235/40R17 and that they were very close to stock diameter. 17 x 7.5" wheels seems to work fine for that tire, as stated by some members: http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....t=235

In looking at the Pirelli P7000 specs ( and all other 235/40-17 tires) at Tirerack, they all claim they require 8-9.5" rim width range with a measured rim width of 8.5". And now the questions: 1. don't these numbers seem to conflict, 2. Will these tires work properly (with little to no bulge or other such issues) on 7.5" rims?

Thanks in advance, Andrew

I have 245's on a 7" rim, several members have 255's on 7. 255 is about the limit, anything wider really needs 7.5" rim.
