Ok so I've been searching for a good all weather tire and some new rims for a while now, and here's what I'm leaning towards, let me know what you think, if there's any serious negatives to these tires or rims or anything...

Centerline Impulse 17"s What size do I need on these? 4x114.3?and the tires in the title, what size would I need for these rims, heh I'm pretty sketchy on tire sizing, so any help would be appreciated.

You only have an option for a 17x7 +42 in that wheel and yes you need a 4x114.3 pattern.

The only Pirelli P Zero Nero M&S that will fit that rim correctly is a 215/45/17 and it's load rating is less than desireable which will lead to premature tire wear and lower than normal performance for the tire.

My suggestion would be to move up to a wheel that has a 17x8 +20-ish offset. This not only keeps the options out there in terms of wheel style, but it allows you to step up to a better tire selection without being too expensive. Also later on down the road if you move to a coilover setup the wheels will fit properly.

Hmm well any suggestions along the same design line as the Centerline Impulse without weighing more than like 18 pounds or so in a 17? I'm not incredibly knowledgable about rims, so I don't really know of any similar wheels, it would also have to be similarly priced, can't really go over 200 a wheel at the moment...and thanks SO much for the help Nismo_Freak!

As far as grossly similar I don't know of any.

Something in a 5-spoke design I can help you with.

The selection you chose costs as follows:Tires - 4 x $116Wheels - 4 x $172Total - $1152

My suggestion: 17x7.5 +22 Gram Light 57c in Silver - 2 x $21817x8.5 +40 Gram Light 57c in Silver - 2 x $233225/45/17 Kumho MX - 2 x $122245/40/17 Kumho MX - 2 x $129

Total - $1404

Your paying $252 bucks more but your getting alot more performance out of the setup. The MX's do well in the rain yet still have excellent dry weather grip, and they are cheap to replace. The Gram Lights have a thin 5-spoke design similar to your other wheel choice, cost a little bit more, but offer offsets that would allow you to run coilovers later if you choose to.

So you're saying the 7.5's in the front and the 8.5's in the rear? Are the Gram Lights really that cheap too? I've liked those since I got the car, just thought they were more expensive than that. And yeah I don't need identical to the Impulses, I'd just like a somewhat similar design 5 or 6 spoke, I guess I like the simple wheels on that car more. OH and finally, where can I get those rims for that price?

Last question if anyone knows, how much do these weigh? Just curious, I couldn't find it on google or the forums.

Ok I've got the rims on hold from hopup racing, can I fit the front tires on a 30mm offset rim?

Offset has no bearing on the tire fitment.

The 225 will fit nicely on the 7.5" rim.
