Ok, first I want to say sorry for asking question that have most likely already been asked, but I cant find it oh the search... Alright here I go: I want to know what I will need for making my own intercooler pipes, any and all information on what I will need to have; what pipes, connectors, ect i should use and where can i get them, and what to do in making IC pipes would be appreciated. Pleace tell me any all flanges the pipes will need as well. Please note that I do have a MIG, TIG, and ARC welder, as well as plasma cuttersI am also looking at the IAP Custom Downpipe at Import-autoperformance.com, does anyone know if this will work with an s13 (not sure if that is a stupid question)

the IAP downpipe should work, the only problems are that it is 2.5" and only a half downpipe, so you would have to get the rest of it welded.

You can go to roadraceengineering.com, 240sxmotoring.com, and some other places. These are the places I bought my piping. Oh yeah what are the diameter size of your intercooler?

I just bought 3 feet of silicone tubing from PDM and cut it up into about 3 inch long sections and used it for my connections.

If you are trying to save money I would tell you to scratch the IAP downpipe. Since you have all the stuff to make the piping you should make your own. Oh yeah for the oil kit you can get a complete kit at jgstools for about 80 bucks. You just have to look around.

I got my T-3 super 60 from turbocalculater. It took two weeks, but everything was in very good condition.

I got my down pipe made at the local muffler shop for 50 with an O2 bung installed. I had a semi down pipe made to get me to the muffler shop though. Also what are you doing for fuel? Also that intercooler is huge I had a good time mounting my 21x9x3 intercooler and that is kind of over kill.

I thought about making my own DP but im worried about the O2 sensor (and im concerned as to weather or not i need to run those 2 other pipes going to my stock manifold to the DP as well, i guess they are some kind of emissions pipes) but you guys think i could just take it to any muffler shop and they'll make me up one?yea i was thinking that IC was pretty big too, i think im going to change that, I do want a large IC though; as far as fuel I was thinking about using an FMU, but i think im going to try and go with a safc even though it cost more, i was hoping that would be enought to get me by at around 7 psi

I suggest SAFC and stock SR injectors if you plan on boosting 7psi. As for the o2 sensors mine is hooked but laying on the valve cover til I get my wideband.

Less than 200rwhp...that's typically 4psi from a T3/T4...you could *maybe* do 5psi from a straight T3...but I woudn' t push it.

s-afc can only do airflow conversion and some monitoring. e-manage can pick up timing with the right harness. if you are gonna stay around 5 or 6 psi you can rock the stock injectors and bump up the pressure with an adjustable fpr as well. then use the s-afc to tune. i think that kit uses an fmu, so it can stick with the stock injectors.

bumping the fp can cause idle problems when corrected to high. Just get sr 370's--they are cheap and better insurance thet raising FP.

adjustable FPR's suck
