pioneer D3 users! i need help =[

Hey i just installed my D3 today but the thing is that the gps isn't working!!! =[ i didnt connect the wire that does to the E-brake. and the manual says that it will make some of the navi's functions not work. is that why it's not working?! I need helpp!! how do i make the D3 work!! It doesn't locate where i am but the arrow turns when i turn. just in the same area. it always says i'm in the middle of LA lol

CHow, chow, chow, you're killing me...lol... check the emails I sent you. Also, make sure you have the correct zone selected. You have to go to the Navi menu, hit address search, I believe there you should see a picture of the United States, you have to click on it and change the zone to wherever you are, i.e. New York.

that's the thing i can't press anything on the navi. not even address search. the only thing i can press is vicinity search and when i get into the menu, i can't press antyhing so. what do i do!! =[
