It does...and you'd need at least 8 GB of hard drive space to cover all of North America. Pioneer's AVIC-Z2 has a hard drive but sells for $2300 in Canada, $1300 more than the D3. I'm so incredibly happy with my purchase... listening to my iPod with such good sound is awesome. No more discs for me.XterraVersa wrote:Does that one require a DVD for the maps to work? I looked at a Pioneer and for $1000 you would think they could put in 4GB of flash memory in it for the maps.

it's not a Canada thing, it's a production oddity. Seems to be manufacture date related.Vahagn23 wrote:YE ITS REVERSEd, lol mine is like yours, I think Canadians get it different.
those holes in the panel are different, it is impossible to just pop them out and reverse them... plus the wires are only long enough to reach the intended holes... stupid efficiency...lain wrote:hmm that gives me an idea...i want my panic button closer to me...hope the wires are long enough
well looks like its going to be more then just plug and play...i just have to get myself to do it now...work on my car or play WOW...hard choice.KimberKenobi wrote:

Neither. The oddity is they decided to change midway through the year. I mean, I've seen companies make mid-year changes, but they're usually more significant... like adding equipment packages, changing tail lights, things like that. This has got to be the most mundane and asinine thing I have ever seen them change.jfanaselle wrote:So which design is the oddity?
Thank you, good idea. The deck is a double-DIN one, so it is a perfect fit for the Versa (And all other double-DIN vehicles), exact same dimensions as the stock radio. The LCD is a widescreen 6.1 inches.brownbrix wrote:putting this post bakk on track. Let me just say that looks nice and what are the dimensions of the deck?
I know that this is not the most important part of this convo, but you can get the iphone here, just a little more expensive.themanfromvlad wrote: When the iPhone finally comes to Canada, I will spring for that as well.
I DO realize this is off-topic, but 2nd Versa? Did you buy one and not like it or buy a second for husband/wife?Ever Victorious wrote:

My first V had the hazard on the driver's side and the airbag light on the passenger side (which makes more sense, don't make the driver reach to hit the damn button!)
My new one has the hazard on the passenger side and the airbag light on the driver's side.
