Should drop right in. It's a double din mount which you have on the '98 Q. Let me know if you are ready to buy and I'll give you a price so you can compare. I've been a Pioneer dealer for over 10 years.

I'll look up some prices and email you. I'm not a Premier dealer so I can't get the DEH980BT. The comperable model in the Pioneer line is the DEH9800BT.

Should be awesome man. I'm not gonna rest till I get some sort of double din dvd/nav system in my car. I'm torn between a fold down roof monitor for the back or head rest monitors. I like both, just not sure which the most.

After installing both flip down models and headrest models, I think I like the headrest monitors the best when they are installed properly. It's pretty inexpensive now to buy headrests with the monitors built in. For some vehicles the flip down ones are better but for the Q for sure I like the headrests best.

AudioVisiony33 I cant get over your ride it looks so perfect like that you dont need 2 do anything else to it -- it's so clean I have the same exact q - silver/black but those wheels tint and height dress it up so nice -- easily up there with the s-class

good Job

Thanks!!I still have the factory bose speakers and amplifier running it. It sounds better than the factory set up because eclipse can play lower and play cleaner.I used DEI adjustable hi/lo converter on the speaker out put of the radio side (Don't use the preout. It will cause little buss noise when radio is on)and convert the speaker lead on the wire harness side to male RCA and plug and play. It's done with out any noise issue. As far as cost I use to own a shop so I got it done cheaper but it would cost customer around $2500.00 for AVN6600 including the center console (used).

Do you still have the factory In-Dash CD Head Unit left?

A few shops have some of the Avic units in stock but they are hard to get right now. My distributor won't have any of the new 2007 models until the end of March or April sometime. The 2006 models are sold out.

Pioneer sent me an email announcing the new D3 coming in March. Looks like a nice unit and at a great price. MSRP is only $1000. I don't have my cost yet but I bet the street price will be $850-900. This one will definitely sell out fast when it gets here.
