pinktop owners confess: where to get hitemp paint?

Ok, ive been looking around the net a lot and havent found any sources for high temperature paint in various colors. I can find standard red black silver, and the domestic guys have colors like mopar orange and ford blue, etc.but im either going to paint the ka leopard print, so i need yellow, tan, black, maybe orange. if that doesnt fly i want to do a purple top ka with polished letters. i cant even find purple paint. or pink...so u pink sr guys fess up with where u found good colors of high temp paint and clearcoat...-Enzo

check out your local autoshops. and just do a search for engine enamel im sure you can find something.

purple metalcast is the backup plan actually, i talked to someone who used it on an engine, tasty!-Enzoand damnit no one can stop me from makin it leopard! baaaahhh! :-P

omg, the chrome paint is AWESOME!!! i'm gonna do my whole car chrome...it's been my dream for so long! mostly for laughs, but it'd be really cool if it looked even semi-realistic!

you can use regular base coat ,clear coat paint for painting **** like that because they r urathane's and they like heat i work for a bodyshop as a painter and i do custum shiot like that all the time and i guarantee it for life i have had no come backs yet !! so you can pick any colour u like

ok guys, leopard print is no go. couldnt find the colors/ nothing but aerosol. so i picked up purple metalcast, and ill post pics when i get it done. -enzo
