j/k man. Now I want to watch it... I still think that drag is FTL tho
I always thought so to. Even a 14 sec car takes too damn long to get down the track. But some guys I know have got me watching NHRA now Those are so freaking fast I dont have time to lose interest...

Yea that honda vs the transam was horrible. They asked for like 20 car lengths. There was another episode where a FC RX-7 vs a civic hatch back. Civic pulled some stupid BS by having a dummy NOS bottle to fool the other team. So sometimes that part of the show sucks, but i still watch it when i remember. LS1's are the $h!t.

I despise drag racing, boring and plus it's only about 20% driver skill.

If I remember right the honda guys acted like babies and ended up busting their car because they wanted too many lengths and they snapped an axel or something when they launched. It was a while back, I don't really like the show anymore.
the honda got raped i was laughin so hard..how u gonna go on tv and whine like a baby run what u brung fool anyway the whole flagging thing is gay i think it would be better if they used they tree...this weeks was retarted a crapy nova and a ranger with nos... the last like month has been all 5.0's too idk why i waste my time

I can't wait til one of my friend sees this. He's a big Mustang fan and hates imports and chevys. So I'm sure this'll tick 'em off a bit.

At least they kept the 4-lug wheels...

Whatever happened to that show where two 2-man crews came in and the SHOW provided 2 cars and they had 24 hours to see what they could do with it? Is this what that show became? Because if all they're gonna show is American muscle in chassis-of-the-week, I'm out.
a few things were left stock, but the car was pretty much a rotting shell. So there was not much "stock" even left to the car.

we actually saved this s chassis, it was used as a parts car for Hybridynamics. And the owner donated it to us when he found out we were looking for a chassis. The floor was completely rusted out, no headlights, no chassis harness, just pretty much gutted already.

the car was actually pretty basic, and thats what we were going for. The car probably was running around a 10.5 off the bottle. We went with low weight, high hp. The car weighed in at 2000lbs minus the driver. Me being an sr20 owner and avid nissan enthusiast I would have loved to see a nissan engine in the chassis. But you have to remember, you have to sell pinks on the idea of the car you are going to use. They loved the idea of the ls1 in the s13, so we went with it!

it was fixed within a day of us owning it! it runs like a dream now! I am not sure what exactly was wrong with it, but I think they said carb was off and timing was off.

At least it was an easy fix. Glad you didn't sell it back to them for a couple grand like others have.
