I have a pin hole leak on my evap coils on my 96 D21 pickup. I can put my finger on the leak. What I was wondering is could I have an aluminium welder put a quick tack on there to plug the hole? I could pull a slight vacuum on the system to help pull the weld in deep. Has anywon done this? I'm just trying to save some money on a $300 coil ya know?

Thoughts, anyone?
