Pimp My Ride?

I work at Mtv and we all got an Email about Pimp My Ride. It sounds like they are trying to do some sort of drift car. They are looking for S13s and AE86s. If anyone is interested I could give you the casting directors info. Maybe you can get some fine APC parts out of it. Oh yeah the Email asked for a fan of racing video games, that means lots of TVs and a PS2 in your car. Me...I'm not the pimped ride type.

when they pimp your ride, do they actually listen to what you want or do they just give you bling? I'd be interested since i have a crushed quarter, and fender if they actually somewhat follow what you have in mind. ie: KATurbo, Volks, SPL chassis stuff, silk road coilovers,....not just body stuff.

hmm, I wouldn't expect your car to go faster when you get it back. All that extra electronics and such are gonna weight it down. I just saw a show where they took a broken @$$ CRX with a basically shot engine. They made it sound like they were gonna make it go all fast and stuff. But the guy said he just took the engine out (it was carbed by the way), cleaned it, painted it, replaced some gaskets & filters, and changed the oil (mad HP!!!! .)

Everyone who asked me for info is back east. Pimp My Ride is shot in Long Beach (I think). You need to have your car in Los Angeles. They arn't going to bring cars from across the country when there are so many pieces of crap here. So sorry to all you kids that got excited but you need to be in LA.

2 things,

1. pimp my ride is done at west coast customs on La Cienega and Olive in inglewood. some of my delivery routes take me past there and i've chilled with the lower level techs before.....and i pretended to race xzibit when i saw him in Topanga.

2. Hook me up a job with MTV fool! lol. i have a great resume, on construction paper with only the highest quality crayon writing!

uuummm, Pimp my Ride AKA Rice My ride! Its is envitable Pimp my Ride doing a drift car! If they do a drift car I expect it to look like a drift car on the outside, but they won't even touch the suspenion, engine, brake, LSD, or transmission! Sorry I don't need 20'in spinner rims, TV's in the head rest, a fountain, 15'in subs, vinyl, Bookshelf wing, shoe rack, massaging seat and especially no APC sh1t!

There should be a mandatory reading comprehension level to be able to use the internet:

and why is that. I mean like i wouldn' t mind having them put a nice system in my car and make the interior nice, but having my car pink and huge rims on it wouldn't be what i have in mind. from what i have seen on teh show its pretty cool what they do to liek cadilacs and trucks, but i dont think i would want an rx7 or silvia to be like that.
