Nissan Laurel, loosely based on the R32 platform but with S13 style suspension.

Yet another kickass JDM car that we don't and never will have. That looks like it would be a market rival to the Toyota Chaser(?).

you mean the inferior chassis ridgidity is a hinderance when drifting? i haven't really noticed, i have to work pretty hard to get my diesel C33 to drift :oface . the pillarless look is cool, its a shame the back windows dont wind all the way down.

well i now own a C33 with RB20DET, it was totally standard for about 15 minutes but now has a pod filter and different wheels. the RB is impressive even in this heavy body and the car comes with a LSD standard:D this is going to be my daily driver but i intend to do some mild modifications to it.

i dont have a photo editor program so i can't post pics here:(

http://www.cardomain.com/id/smokeyhayes

check out page 2 for pics, more photos to come when i get time. i put the 3" exhaust on yesterday, it is a little loud but the motor makes a lot more power:D

next on the modification list:*suspension, the standard gear is worn out and i want to lower/firm it up a touch.*tinted windows - who is that guy?*intercooler, that little sidemount has to go and i have a slightly larger cooler in the garage.*boost, once i am happy with the fuelling and cooling.

i might add a transmission cooler and better brake pads eventually.

Hi guys,

I have to agree with the lack of structural rigidity on the Laurel C33 with its B pillarless design. Ever since I had a hidden cage ( Cages are illegal where I come from) installed ,the car felt much more stable especially while drifting..

The TX3 was actually a hand me down from my elder sis..has a Mazda B8 engine transplanted to it with a TO4E sized turbo.

Yeah, I actually saw the' for sale 'ad in the paper saying that its a 1997 laurel which turned out to be a C33 registered in 97..didn't think much of it at first but the looks grows on you. Furthermore the previous owner had already did a RB20DET conversion on it and now I love the looks.

Entered a drift competition recently and everyone who isn't familiar with the car thinks that I'm loco entering with the car...a definate "drift sleeper"..LOLOLOL

Repo man: Thanks..nice to be welcome'd. No I do not have a site with pictures of my cars in it. However if you would allow me to indulge myself..

My, 'Hakusuka' getting its wheel bearings worked on..the amount of restoration involved is overwhelming but I guess its worth it ..especially with the help of my wife-to-be..Jane :)

My GTR33..the first Skyline that I bought..had it for 6 years now and been through a lot of changes and modifications..once had thought of turning it to a full on drag car but decided against it since I bought the KPGC10 and learned a bit about the Skyline history...
