Interesting especially how well this 16" tire performed in Braking wet/dry and slalom/skid pad vs oem 17" on the BMW.

Might be a clue as to a less expensive alternative to Pilot A/S in some applications where only very light snow might be encountered very rarely! Tire is decent at 20-25F ambient!

I have used the 235/60/15 H4 for years at least 3 sets and this is the tire we recommend for our older Lexus and Infiniti owners.Works great in 16" on SC400

too bad its speed rating is too low. I wont put an H rated on a 330, excepting snow use(where a V or better cant be found usually).-chet

The point was to enlighten people who complained about Michelin H4 and the perceived problems in rain/wet.

Obviously [from the testing] it was better than the oem tire [RSA]used on the 330..............and the other 2 rires tested.

For those that don't keep speeds over 100 mph for sustained periods the H4 is fine........I wouldn't exceed the 130 mph rating for more than 30 seconds, certainly not in Summer heat.

A very good tire for those dissappointed in directional tires and the cost of demounting continuously.

Yep, I gave up on XGT H4 on the third generation because the wet traction was so bad. A well constructed tire that "progressed" to a low void ratio with harder rubber. I would still run the softer first two generations with the agressive tread pattern if they were available.

The P6 is the only tire in that group I would give a passing glance. It would be a very brief glance.
