im doing a auto to manual swap. i cant get the old auto pilot bushing out, anyone have any suggestions?

Rent the tool from autozone.

yeah, i did and i got home and it is missing all the parts

Do what I did, take a sharp chisel to it. Its brass so as long as you hammer lightly, you will break and split the bushing without damaging the much harder steel flywheel. Chip it and chunk it if you have to.

In that case get creative I guess. I had a screwdriver that was hooked on the end and fit in the hole perfectly. I slid it in and just pulled and pulled and it finally popped out.

the auto one isnt brass. im gonna try auto zone again tommorow, thanks for the help
