Apparently when Venus took the clutch off my motor, they took the pilot bushing too, because it didn't come with one. I'm having a lot of problems putting in the bushing that came with the spec stage 1 kit. I've tried greasing it and tapping it, with no luck. I tried tapping it in with the clutch alignment tool too. It looks like it's too big to go in. The hole in the crank it goes in is larger after about 1/2" in. Stupid question, should it go all the way in, or just flush with the end of the crank? Everyone tells me it should "glide right in", once it's lined up right. I didn't get an auto motor, did I? people to auto -> manual swaps mention a pilot converter that sticks off the back of the crank, that has a hole too small to fit a m/t pilot bushing in. Can someone post a pic or a good description of this area of the motor? I've searched nico, freshalloy, and 240sxforums with no real answers. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
