yo, im so freaking ticked right now. i dont know if im just an idiot, or this is what i think it is. i recently just picked up a 95 240, pulled the motor, got a red top sr20det, along with a fadanza flywheel and ACT street clutch. Well, i go to install the pilot bushing, and it doenst go in the hole. its oversized by .045. The more and more i look at this thing, the more and more i think i have to pull out this metal bushing that is infront of where i believe the pilot bearing goes. I was reading on another forum (cant find it now) but it apears that this metal bushing infront of the hole where the pilot bearing goes is for an automatic transmission? Can anyone varify that this metal bushing should not be there so i can take it off and install my pilot bushing?

thanks guys.. you will probably hearing from me alot in the future lol

maybe this is a dumb question but do you have an SR20tranny...Or was it some custom job?

Also, that picture looks like the flywheel is installed, if it still is you should be taking that off anyway to replace your rear main seal, it may not need replacing but this is a 20 dollar spend that is worth the sacrifice of preventing leaks. When you get the flywheel off then you can investigate further or post better pics

P.S. calm yourself down youll figure it out!
