Well I grabbed a pilot bushing removal tool today from a local store and pulled out the old bushing.

I have a clutchmasters stage 3 clutch for a nissan maxima. I called clutchmasters and they said it was all the same I just need the new throw out bearing.

I lubed up the new bushing and hit it into place and it seated all the way in. It just seems like it's pretty tight in there I can't move it with my fingers at all. The old bushing I could is that just cause it was worn in?

I lined up the transmission input shaft and bolted it up and the trans sat flush. I spun the crank and it spun freely and I spun the trans input shaft and it aslo spun freely.

So this should be okay right?

are you referring to the throw out bearing or the pilot bushing? If you are talking about the pilot bushing, you should not be able to move it with your fingers.

Yeah, no move on that. Mine was in there so tight we had to cut it out.
