Im doing a clutch job off tommorow right now the transmission is out, my old clutch is raped, the flywheel looks brand new unlike the clutch (im just going to throw some salt on and leave it in the rain so it rusts and makes some pits) and then im throwing it all back together.

question 1how do i get the pilot bushing out do i have to take the flywheel off before i do this and if so how do i get it to pop out?what do i need and what do i need to do.

question 2do i need a bearing puller to pop the throw out bearing off that bracket thing that it spins on or is there another way of getting it off and putting the new one on?

you will need a tool to get the pilot bushing out, most autopart stores that rent tools should carry it. the throw out bearing should come off by just pulling on it... there might be a retaining clip you have to release too, but i forgot. It's a lot easier to get the throw out bearing off than the pilot bushing. and i'm pretty sure you have to get the flywheel off to get to the pilot bushing.
