I bought the bumper and fender extensions, but according to Nissan the Styrofoam and metal bumper reinforcement are different. Is this correct? Do I need these pieces from the DOHC or will my pignose pieces work??

Thanks.........

I am using a 91+ front bumper but the styrofoam is a little different because of the shape of the cover. In reality you can install the cover to the car with out the foam if you have all the brackets. Most of the time you can't use the styrofoam with a body kit bumper and you'll end up tossing it anyway. Post it up in the wanted section. Surely someone here has on lying around.

Just an FYI. Usually White Comet is right, but the literal bumber( metal part ) does differ from pignose to Chuki.

The chuki ones have little lips on the end that stick out, whereas on pignose, the whole part is flat. Also, iirc, the Chuki one is a tad longer.

Hope this helps.

i did it and the metal bumper support is different jus take the styrofoam out as stated... but if u get a front mount u most likely have to cut or remove the bumper support anyways

yeah i just gave a short answer, but i was going to mention that if there is a difference with the metal support, its not a big deal cuz the chuki bumper can still be put on with the zenki metal bumper. thanks for correcting me

Is DOHC another way of saying Chuki/Shark front end?

I always thought it stood for Dual Over Head Camelot.
