Here is a pic of my old pignose. I sold it in June to a friend. I just got a '92 and want to switch out the sloped nose for a pig nose. Any idea if this is an easy swap?

What's up yall. I though it would be fitting to make my first post in this thread since I am the proud new owner of the best looking style 240 ever released in the states. That's right I just got a 89" piggy, picked it up for $500 bones. It's in pretty good shape for the age and everything. She still has all original panels (hooray), and paint (boo). One of my techs at work sold it to me and said it only needed a head gasket. Boy was he sugar coating. It turns out it's gonna need a complete overhaul on the engine. I guess I should have known better with 285k on the clock. Well there goes the idea of building the SOHC till I can come up with SR money.Anyways, here are some pics right after I got her. Keep in mind she has been sitting in a back yard for last three years and hasn't had a bath yet.

btw this forum rocks almost as much as swine snouts baby, lol

The pic didnt show up in my first post, here goes again

arghghghg, I cant seem to get the pics to upload, I am attaching the file below and I already resized it so it would fit. I cant figure it out

its a good thing I am better with cars than with computers or my 240 would be doomed, haha

could someone tell me how to post pics, I'm dying to show off my rideeventhough its dirty as hell and doesnt run.

Overall I think its in pretty good shape. The paint is starting of fade on all the horizontal surfaces but not too bad for a 18 year old car. The hatch has minimal rust compared to others ive seen. It is a straight body adn frame with all original body panels.

The interior is also in good shape, save for teh usual wear on the drivers seat and the doo doo brown interior color, seriously my 18 mo. old daughters shyte is a prettier shade of brown!!!!

On to the pix

I finally got my ride after over a years worth of looking and dreaming. My project is officially started. Now I am saving money for an SR20 and some susp upgrades.

Fellow members of the Swine, I suggest you utilize a photo-hosting site such as iServe or at the least Photobucket.

I need to get some updated pics of mine.

Plans? well I keep looking at the VQ swaps that are going on, but my god the amount of work that it will be... When it comes down to the wire im thinking I might just chicken out and get a DOHC KA and turbo it... one things for sure need more power before it starts getting sunny again.

Do I forsee a Piggy meet this next summer sometime? that would be frickin awesome

i WAS gonna stick with my KA and switch in a new cylinder head (my valves are tappin like crazy. Damn no-solid-lifter-havin KA24E ). But I'm startin to lean a lil towards the CA.

Hey CadetLD, which driving lights are those that you're usin for headlights? I was thinkin of doing a similar setup, but possibly with the SMAD headlight housings. But how did you set up yours? what lights are you using? And most importantly....do they provide enough light at night?
