Hi I don't post on here much but I was thinking about getting a pignose lip and was wondering about how tall it was. My front bumper is about 5 inches off the ground and I would just like to get an idea of how much clearance I'll have. Btw I've searched and couldn't come up with anything, thanks a lot guys.

I would guess about 2.5" which means you have about 2.5" to lower it yet.

just went out and measured...got around ~3 to ~3 1/3 inches...depending on how you measure it.

Damn, that thing would be scraped to hell in no time. I think 2 inches off the ground might be a little too low for me. Thanks for going out in the cold and measuring it. I'm sure Kansas' weather is a little colder than Florida's 60 degree weather.

I want to go lower as well. That should give you a reference for how "tall" the lip is at it's lowest point.

Thanks for the replys guys, I think once I come across one I think I might buy it if the price is right then. And once I do get one it will be going on my chuki, hopefully I can make sure it doesn't hang. And I have a question for ILoveMyRHS13, what stuff can you clear? I just want to know if mine would clear speedbumps.

I avoid speedbumps; not for my lip, cause that gets scraped on everything else. I avoid speedbumps to avoid laying trans bellhousing, or crossmember, etc.

Oh, I think the only thing that hits speed bumps for me is my exhaust. And I have another question, just so I don't make another thread I'll post here. I was wondering if whenever you guys got coilovers, did your tie rod end bushing start to squeak at all? If so, did you buy aftermarket tie rod ends to fix it, or just replace the bushing? Thanks.

It'll overlap like an inch or half an inch with bumper once you install it.

How do you guys drive like that, especially tramp. I've always seen your car and loved it, but what does your car make it over? I just got some megan street coils and I thought my frame rail being 3.5 inches off the ground was low although I would probably be maxing them out in another 1/4 of an inch. I want to know how you guys drive like that. Or do you have to avoid everything?

Is that why you're getting rid of it?
