Good luck. If you do find one its gonna be hella expensive, then still have to survive the test of being the front bumper and all the stresses that go with it. I like the fact that the stock pumper is just flexible plastic.

Yes I would like a front bumper (pig nose) in carbon fiber....I have seen other ones but I like the pig nose design a little better. If pig nose isn't available I guess I will go with some sort of after market. I just don't want something all crazy looking, im staying with the OEM look. oh yea and No I don't need the lip it's useless to me my car is way to low.

The lip is the auditory cue to the question "Am I gonna make it?" I love scraping my lip around town.

It's for a project car I am working on now. I have had 240's for years and just am trying to do something a little different. Im doing a S14 dash and a few other little goodies I dont want to give away just yet. :naughty:

s14 dash? why? s15 full interior has been done before why not do that?..s14 dash looks like crap anyways, its a downgrade from a s13 clean black dash

S14 dash has a huge gap between the door and dash in a s13. Your probably better off hunting down a LHD s15 dash.

He wants to be different. I'm tired of everybody having the 91+ ,sileighty, Silvia bumpers. IMO the sileighty looks goofy and the back of the car is too long. Looks good on any coupe though.

Edit: Looks good on a s13 that was converted to a truck. Gotta get rid of the hatch and glass.

The pig nose is supposed to have better aerodynamics. From what I heard it keeps the front end down better at high speeds.

I saw a nooicce s13 white pig nose carbon fiber bumper a loooong time ago. It was nice and made the car look lower. That guy spent about $1500 to get it done. Front bumper only. Pig nose Reunite!! :mike

I am seriously considering this.... Im just wondering how it will hold up especially in the FL sun. :ohno: Also with a real carbon fiber hood next to it im worried it will look mega fake and full on fail.

And yes i have been building and modifying 240's for about 8 yrs now so I just know what "I" like so i hope this answers all your "why do you want this" questions. Seriously it's retarded that i even have to explain this.

Don't waste your time or money on it. Most carbon fiber parts that company's sell for our cars are made using terrible methods and don't exhibit the true rigidity of carbon fiber. You just end up with an expensive "baller" part. For example most CF hoods they sell are just flat out garbage.

If you wanted it done right though, be prepared to pay 800$ +

It's your car and of course do with as you wish. Your car looks really clean the way it is though. If you put a carbon pignose bumper I think it will make the front look too busy. I just don't see the draw of having the unpainted carbon fiber bumper that will be prone to cracking. The money spent for an actual nice carbon part would go along ways towards performance upgrades and some nice sideskirts.

Doom ... really? Leave the front end alone, it looks great. There are reasons why you'll never see a CF hood, bumper, wing, etc. on my car ... it's a waste! I'm not saying I'd never do it, but it would have to have some functional purpose that FAR outweighs it's looks and cost. At that, I'd probably paint it or even mask it so the paint blends with the rest of the car as opposed to looking like a bluntly bolted on part. Hey, your car (nice as it sits now), my 2 cents; do what you want. :dblthumb:
