Ok guys, I would like to know which would be the best and simplest piggy back I can use on my RB20DET. I am looking to cut my REV limitor and increase my fuel.

why?

the rev limiter is there for a reason. rev any higher and you can damage your engine if the valvetrain is stock. not to mention you wont make any power above the stock rev limiter. so there is no reason to do this on a stock engine.

and increase fuel? fuel mileage? put more gas in the engine? just adding fuel dosent make horsepower. any type of piggyback needs to be tuned but if its a stock rb20 theres no reason wasting the money on a piggyback because its stock! its not needed till you modify bigger components on the engine (i.e. turbo upgrade, injectors, etc)

i hope im not sounding like im condescending to you, if i am i apologize. its just you asked a very generic question and it requires very specific things to be done to the car to make those mods worthwhile.

please give us some more info on your setup

yeah you are sounding condescending butt munch.....

but im sure he wants something and is not just gonna dump fuel in to try to make hp. plus the stock rev cut is sucky with its fuel cut. so he probably wants a ign cut or no cut.

id say if you want a piggy back go with the E-manage. most others like to trick ecus more then u want. but we've seen a few people do real good on the safc II which is cheap and easy install

rechipped ecu will get rid of most limiters and you can add fuel where you like........however a piggy back will ultimately limit power output........

Thanks for the ideas, Iam planning on using a T3/T4 turbo on my rb20 and was thinking about getting an upgraded ecu. but i heard about the piggyback systems and was looking for some ideas and opinions.I am using an RB25DET turbo on my car. i also was curious about installing an electric fan or two. i did this with my L2.8 engine and it performed great. how do i hook this up onto my rb20det and is there a specifice way with the elctical? Thanks

If i got rid of my rev limiter id have blown my motor along time ago IMO the RB NEEDS a rev limiter, and your not really wiring the fans to the motor, sorry to be a sarch button monkey but search Im going to be buying a Apexi SAFC2 pretty soon along with some 550cc's.
